I consider myself a “professional recreationalist.” Among the hobbies I have are home brewing, mountain biking, bagpiping, disc golf, road biking, scuba diving, reading, computers, art (drawing), bird watching, “ball” golf, and others. Of course, my involvement in these hobbies ebbs and flows based on interest, time available, and friends who also like these activities. I’ve had some people call me a “renaissance man” … and I would agree with them if only I had my old chemistry set in the basement …
